Racng Career.

2003: I began racing minimoto’s around the mid season, in my first ever race I came joint 3rd, I knew this was my sport. I gained more and more experience throughout this half year to set myself up for a full season in 2004.

2004: This season I moved onto a geared motorcycle along side MiniMoto racing. At the start of the year I won lots of minimoto races and I realised that it was time to move on completely, so we sold it and focused on the latest machine, a 50cc Conti RX356 v2 which I raced in the Conti cup UK. With one race win and many podiums I ended the Conti season in 2nd place. For the second half of the season I was offered a ride on an 80cc Jawa, a brand new machine that I was testing for development etc. This gave me lots of confidence and I was lent an Aprilla RS 125 on which I had many race wins, in one being 1 tenth of a second, off a lap record.

2005: I moved onto a 1997 Honda RS 125 for this year, as our plan was to move up to British GP 125 series in 2006. I competed in the EMRA championship, Preston and District MCC / JRA and the renowned MRO power bike championship. Due to overlapping dates, I had to miss 2 rounds of each championship, due to a chain snap on the start of the last EMRA event, I was denied of a championship win, despite an overall 30 wins, 3 second places, 2 third place finishes, and 2 lap records. A great year and very confidence boosting. However, due to unforseen circumstances, my dreams of the BSB GP 125 class for 2006 vanished and we had to find an other place to pursue my career.

2006: This was my first year on a 600 at the age of 16, running in the ACU star championship finishing with a very respectable 4th place   Along side some very respected opposition.I competed in many other club rounds gaining valuable experience and managed to win 5 races over the season, many top 5 finishes and pole positions, all accomplished on a completly stock machine.

2007: Competed in the gsxr motostar cup. This championship was split into 2 catogories. Under 23s in which i came first by an 80 point margin, and in the overall championship finishing second behind by 9 points, 4 wins 3 2nd’s and 1 dnf, sadly at the dnf round at Croft race circuit i had taken pole by 1.3 seconds and won the sprint race by 8.5 seconds. I also competed in the ACU open clubmans championship on the stock 600 gsxr and managed a 3rd place overall against mainly 1000cc machines.

In the later half of the season i had the oportunity to race at five rounds of the European superstock championship with team rumi azione squadra corse, this series is run alongside the WSBK my best position being 17th place. I also had a run out with the GSXR 750 European Cup at Assen also with WSBK  achieving my first world points at my first meeting with11th place.

2008: Competing alongside the British Superbikes Championship in The Metzeler Superstock 600 Championship, On a Honda CBR 600 RR 08 Model.
