Winning the gsxr cup under 23s

Jay won the under 23s championship in style last weekend when he won the 12 lap cadwell park race by over 5 seconds, with an average start, jay was in third place scouting bruce wilson and lee hodge the race leaders for 3 laps before passing them both on lap 4 and checking out, raising the pace by 2 seconds a lap, bruce shortly followed him but could not match the consistancy that jay produced, and so the under 23s chamionship was won by over 80 points.

The overall was not so easy and so jay finished a hard fought 9 points behind lee hodge, jay with the highest win rate of the class taking 4 wins and 3 seconds, but the unlucky dnf from an early race at croft was the deciding factor of the championship.

well done to lee for an great chamionship win as he did not put a foot wrong all season.

jay would like to say: " thankyou to my dad, my sponsers, road and racing, richard baker, bespoke interiors, etc, also thanks to all the acu guys, and all the lads in the GSXR series for a great championship". bring on 2008
